  1. Gluten-free chocolate fudge brownies

This recipe is easy to make, is gluten-free and each brownie will have a deliciously gooey middle!

Ingredients:

  • Brown sugar x ½ cup
  • Eggs (large) x 3
  • Spiral Organic Rice Syrup x 1/3 cup
  • Vanilla extract x 1 teaspoon
  • Butter (unsalted) x 170 grams
  • Casalare Gluten-Free Plain Flour x ½ cups
  • Milk chocolate chips (or dark) x 150 grams
  • Cocoa powder x ½ cup

Method:

  • Preheat your oven to 160 C, grab a square baking tray (about 8 inches) and line it with baking paper.
  • Grab a large mixing bowl and add in the butter (melted), brown sugar and Spiral Organic Rice Syrup. Whisk gently until combined.
  • Now add in the vanilla extract and give it another whisk.
  • One at a time, add each egg in while stirring.
  • Sift in the Casalare Gluten-Free Plain Flour and cocoa powder. Mix in well and then add in the chocolate chips.
  • Now scoop the mixture into the baking tray and put in the oven. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes. Prick with a skewer and if it comes out clean then they are ready.
  • Cool for 10 to 15 minutes, then place in fridge for at least an hour before serving.

2. Gluten-free maple syrup jam drops

This simple jam drop recipe features a unique twist and is deliciously gluten-free!

Ingredients:

  • Strawberry jam (or preferred flavour) x 3 tablespoons
  • Butter (unsalted) x 150 grams
  • Casalare Gluten-Free Plain Flour x 1 & ½ cups
  • Vanilla extract x 1 teaspoon
  • Brown sugar x 1/3 cup

Method:

  • Preheat your oven to 180 C and then line two flat baking trays with baking paper.
  • Grab an electric mixer and mix the brown sugar, butter and vanilla extract until it is a fluffy and light texture.
  • Now add in the Casalare Gluten-Free Plain Flour and mix until combined.
  • Using a tablespoon, roll the mixture into roughly 18 balls. Place them on the baking tray about 4cm apart. Then flatten each ball gently.
  • Gently make a small indentation in the centre of each ball and fill with jam.
  • Bake in oven for around 11 to 15 minutes or until golden.
  • Allow to cool for about 15 minutes before serving.
